  • Influenza vaccination coverage among Medicare fee-for-service beneficiaries 65 years and older is assessed using data files from the Medicare Fee-For-Service (FFS) administrative claims data managed by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
  • Weekly influenza vaccination coverage estimates were calculated using Kaplan-Meier survival analysis, based on beneficiaries enrolled as of August 1 at the start of each flu season (example: Aug 1, 2021) to end of current season reporting time period or end of May the following year for prior seasons (example: May 28, 2022)
